Vision Statement
To show the love and compassion of Christ by empowering and enabling those affected and infected by the HIV- AIDS virus. As well as working within the community to alleviate the stigma and discrimination of the HIV-AIDS virus.
Mission Statement
We will help and provide new options for the future, which will enable, empower and sustain people whose lives have been affected by HIV-AIDS.
Prayer Requests
- For those suffering with HIV-AIDS & its effects.
- For the elimination of stigma & discrimination through education.
- Wisdom and grace for those showing God’s unconditional love to hurting individuals.
- Provision of funding for construction, self help/support groups, & the education program.
- For the short term mission teams who really make themselves vulnerable to the plight of others.
Our Plan
After much prayer, research, study and consultation, we have come to understand that considering the effects of the epidemic and the amount of children who could be orphaned in the next 10 years the solution is:
- Educate the youth, and children to understand the effects and consequences of HIV/AIDS.
- Train relatives, work places, schools how to respond to the pandemic by aliviating stigma and descrimination.
- Be a depository and administrate retrovirals now available to underdeveloped countries at low cost.
- Help infected children recuperate, by giving health treatment and nutrition.
- Use every effort to connect orphan children with their closest relative.
- Support those relatives in case their financial situation impedes them from helping their loved one.
- Find foster families for orphan children with no relatives.
- As a last resort provide a home in our center for children, under a family atmosphere.
- Create a farm that will offer the children vocational skills for the future.
- Make sure the children receive education at local schools.
