Keydi was born with the HIV virus fifteen years ago. Her mother died of AIDS and her father suffered from the same disease. Keydi lived with her 72 year old grandmother , who makes and sells tortillas to sustain the family, but earns very little. Keydi was a very happy young girl who loved school and her studies. Keydi’s dream was to become a teacher, but she did not live to fulfil her dream.

She accepted Christ with a Pastor from Cedar Creek Ohio and the CHV team had a chance to confirm her acceptance while she was in the hospital. Ian was able to pray for her around 5 minutes before she passed away. She was peaceful when he told her God was there with her.

Thank you for your prayers and your support in all we do. For us it has confirmed once again the importance of the support groups who have rallied around carrying out various things needed before and after Keydi’s death.

Carlos is one of 8 children, living in a blended-family home. The family lives in complete poverty. Two women in the household work. One works at a melon factory and the other sells anything she can on the street. Their combined incomes are not enough to feed the whole family.

The children have all been very ill due to the poor diet that they have in addition to severe infections of parasites and scabies. Casa Hogar Vida has been helping this family and the children’s health has improved. Because of support from Casa Hogar Vida, the family now has a water reservoir, and the children are able to bath daily, which is helping them recover from the scabies.

One of the children is infected with HIV and is in need of help with medication, diet and general hygiene. The family all live in a tiny house, with only one bed. The children sleep scattered anywhere they can find room on the dirt floor.

Through the program Casa Hogar Vida we hope to be able to transform the life of these children, and you can help achieve this vision. You can help make a difference in Carlos’s life by donating $33 per month. This money will help towards food, medication and an education – all things we in the western world take for granted.

Besner’s Dad died six years ago from an AIDS related disease, leaving his mother, Maria, is infected with HIV, to care for all her children alone. While she is out working every day, her mother-in-law, who is 79 years old, looks after the house and the children. They are a very nice family and work very hard, but money is little and they need help to survive. Through the Casa Hogar Vida program, we hope to be able to transform the lives of Maria’s children. For $33 a month, you can help achieve this vision. You can help make a difference in Besner’s life by donating $33 per month. This money will help towards food, medication and an education – all things we in the western world take for granted.

Andrea is one of 8 children, living in a blended-family home.

Andrea is currently sponsored. Her "padrino"’s contribution helps with food, medication and an education – all things we in the western world take for granted.
